I’ll start this with a classic heresy: I didn’t like One Punch Man. At all. At the end of the series, I wanted my time back. The humor didn’t land for me, the characters annoyed me, and I wasn’t a fan of the opening.
Mashle definitely seems to be cut from that same cloth, but with Harry Potter and a bit of Black Clover mixed in. It’s a total brain off experience. There’s a plot of sorts, I guess, but most of it just boils down to Mash punching things.
It was a fine watch for me, and while I don’t really know or care what the overarching plot is, I’ll probably tune in to future seasons if/when they air.
This one is definitely short, but I don’t have many thoughts about this show, other than it might be nice to have a cream puff once in a while.
